Engines do not know what brand they are. Any car can be made to run , with enough cash. There is no "best" . It's all in what "you" prefer. I'm a Ford guy. I? have four Mustangs, one, a 94 supercharged GT, with methanol injection. It's a nice hotrod. But, I like all enthusiasts rides.If my car loses a drag race by a foot, it doesn't mean it isn't a fast, or nice ride. I'm sure if we were all wealthy, we'd all have some awesome cars!

Viper is catagorically in a class by itself? by virtue of it's V-10. It beats Lamborghini, Corvette, and Porsche, in that order! Only two Italian carmakers are ahead of the Viper, Bugatti and Ferrari in that order. So when talking about world class supercars, do some research.

A new mustang can ...
A new mustang can be had for about 29K with the Brembo package and add the Ford stage 2 supercharger and it rates? at 624 HP for @ 35K total price. Also the Stage one kit is rated 560 HP and does not completely void the warranty, although all that remains is only one year, 12000 miles.

You should look up the specs before spouting off like that, the? gt350 is faster in every way on a road course than the gt500, and about even with it on a 1/4 mile strip.

Stripped down for weight to maybe 3000-3400 lbs, cause honestly its kinda? a big heavy lazy beast with a good soundtrack.

Anyone else think dodge should make a T/A model? Beefed up track tuned suspension, an exhaust a bit like the new boss 302 (its two? way infront the wheels and out the back) a closer ratio manual gearbox, front splitter, rear diffuser, spoiler, big hoodscoop to feed the engine, 5.7 litre engine tuned up to maybe 400-425 hp, special lightweight wheels, black side stripes, matte black bonnet... make it like the modern T/A.
